The Trainee Website Analyst & Experimenter’s role is to gain insight on client website performance by reviewing data & performance metrics to develop a coherent & testable theory. Using cutting edge technology the trainee would then create experiments to gain real-world data from the website to test their hypothesis & make actionable recommendations to the client for improvements to the website.

The role will also involve developing strategies for new customers as well as for improving existing client website performance, keeping the client informed as to the performance of the existing strategies while developing new strategies for existing and new clients alike.

The candidate will work with the rest of the team to uphold the company values and maintain positive relationships with clients & other 3rd parties.

No experience is required for this vacancy as training support will be provided. What is required is a creative thought process and an enquiring mind that can find stories within the data.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Continuously look for ways to improve the client’s web site to improve response rates and user satisfaction, and upon agreement with the client, implement the changes as appropriate
  • Analyse website reports to gain behvioural insight on website users.
  • Implement & review website monitoring tools & make recommendation for optimisation.
  • Conduct AB optimisation experiments to improve customer response rates and act on the results.
  • Create compelling landing pages for client websites that help achieve ROI targets and improve marketing budget efficiency
  • Assist in developing website strategy in collaboration with the paid search marketing team.
  • Use website personalisation software to create unique experiences for website visitors.


    • £16,000 to £22,000

Working hours

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:30 to 16:45


  • Bonus based on percentage of company profits
  • Professional qualifications e.g. Digital Marketing degree

For the right candidate, prior knowledge of the industry is not required. Full training would be provided as appropriate. It is more important that the candidate displays the capacity to learn in a structured way
